The View from a Small Island: Ode to a Nap

On the first week of a new decade, I feel ‘a nap’ coming on. Perhaps this is driven by the weather: rainy, solid cloud cover, foggy when the drizzle lets up. In general, a stay-at-home, climb under a new (gift from grandson) soft wrap and sip hot chocolate kind-of-day.

ODE TO A NAP: Back in the day (of December 2020), I found a fascinating article in The Atlantic on ‘napping’. Perfect reading before you drop off into that zone of ‘a nap’. Have a read, then a nap and good luck for 2021. 2020 seems to have been dismal for most everyone!

May you nap in dreamless bliss.
