On the surface, raising awareness of inequity and bias in our organizations would seem straight-forward. Standing on the sideline, however, is the Court Jester of trickery and illusion — human behavior is not straight-forward and he knows it. With glee, the Jester hides much from us, about ourselves, about our culture. Reality appears fixed — a different reality is beyond our mind’s grasp.
